Preferred areas of work

Sebastian Wyler advises and represents clients before state courts and arbitral tribunals; in particular in corporate, commercial, employment and general contract law related matters. Further, he is an expert in the field of debt enforcement and bankruptcy law.

He works in German and English. He further speaks French and Spanish.

Education

Sebastian Wyler graduated from the University of Basel with Bachelor of Law in 2015 and Master of law in 2017 (summa cum laude). He further holds an LL.M. in American Law from Boston University (USA). Since 2018, Sebastian Wyler has been admitted to the bar and licensed to practice as attorney at law in all Switzerland.

Professional experience

From 2019 to 2025, Sebastian Wyler worked as an associate in two leading Swiss law firms in Zurich in the abovementioned areas. In 2024, he completed a six months’ secondment in the legal department of a global sport organization. Since May 2025, Sebastian Wyler has been a partner at Kohli Urbach Rechtsanwälte AG.
