Benjamin Grunwald is active in corporate and commercial law as well as contract law, with a focus on national and international M&A and private equity transactions. He also represents clients before state courts and arbitral tribunals. He practices in German and English.

Education

Benjamin Grunwald graduated in 2019 with a degree in law and economics from the University of St. Gallen. In 2022, he obtained the Zurich bar admission.

Professional experience

Benjamin began his professional career as an intern in major business law firms in Zurich and as a research assistant to Prof. Dr. Benjamin Schindler in the field of public administrative and procedural law at the University of St. Gallen. After being admitted to the bar, he worked for a major business law firm in Zurich, focusing on private M&A and private equity transactions. Since September 2025, Benjamin Grunwald has been a Senior Associate with Kohli Urbach Rechtsanwälte AG.
